Tweenbots

Kacie Kinzer has created a unique experiment to understand the Human-Robot interaction, and see if humans would really help out a robot if it was inviting.

Behold the Tweenbot! Kacie created small little cardboard robots that were intended to look caring and she set them out with one goal. To get from one corner of Washington Square Park to the other. The robot had no way of turning so the only way that the robot could change course was if a person helped it turn.

The results were astonishing. Every time the robot got stuck in a ditch, pothole, or under a bench, people always helped it out and sent it off (in the right direction or not)

You should have a look for yourselves at the results, I was completely amazed!
